A participatory discussion format that invites teenagers and young adults to discuss current issues relating to opera.

Together with experts from science, art and culture, the dramaturgy and theater mediation of the Vienna State Opera, we develop exciting discussions on the challenges and perspectives of opera in today's world. This will lead to practical discussions such as improvisations, scene development and creative writing. Join us and actively shape the discourse!

In the first issue of Hot Topic, we address the following topic: How can opera remain relevant and up-to-date? What themes, musical and staging languages do we want to see on the opera stage?
