Amedeo D'Aleo

Italian Amedeo DʼAleo trained at the Momas Dance Academy in Sestri Levante and the Nuovo Balletto Classico in Reggio Emilia. From 2016 to 2024 he studied at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera and danced in the matinee in August Bournonvilleʼs La Sylphide and Kinsun Chan's Just in time (JIT) in 2023 and as Fakir in La Bayadère after Marius Petipain 2024. Since the 2024/25 season, he has been a member of the Youth Company of the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy. He has appeared at the Vienna State Opera in Hector Berliozʼs opera Les Troyens (directed by Sir David McVicar) and with the Vienna State Ballet as a guard in Christopher Wheeldonʼs The Winter's Tale, as well as at the Volksoper Wien in Benjamin Brittanʼs Death in Venice (directed by Sir David McVicar).
