Elliot Renahy

Born in France, he started with the ballet training at the age of 10 and joined the Paris Opera Ballet School at 12. During his five years there, he danced in the annual performances as well as in productions of August Bournonvilleʼs Napoli, Pierre Lacotteʼs Coppélia, George Balanchineʼs La Sonnambula and Roland Petitʼs Les Forains. He also worked with choreographers such as Nils Christe for Symphonie in Three Movements or Martin Chaix for Ma Mère l'Oye.
After a year in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, dancing in West Side Story by Jerome Robbins, among others, he joined the European School of Ballet in the 2023/24 season. There, he has worked with renowned ballet masters and choreographers from around the world, including David Dawson, Dinna Bjørn, Christiane Bayard, Anita Young, Maina Gielgud and Nina Botkay, dancing pieces such as Metamorphosis II (David Dawson), Esmeralda (Marius Petipa), Herman Schmerman (William Forsythe), Divertimento No. 15 (George Balanchine) and Cacti (Alexander Ekman).
In 2023 he took part at the Prix de Lausanne (European Preselection).
He also gained experience as a choreographer and created from 2022 to 2024 Compte, Boulez, Tennis, B.I.O., L'Essentiel pour les yeux and Catharsis.
Since the 2024/25 season, Elliot Renahy has been a member of the Youth Company of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera and performed with the Vienna State Ballet as a guard in Christopher Wheeldonʼs The Winterʼs Tale and in Rudolf Nureyevʼs Swan Lake.
