Massimiliano Santagostino

Massimiliano Santagostino was born in Italy. In 2023, he obtained a diploma in classical and contemporary dance from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, in addition to his diploma from the Liceo Coreutico. During this time, he danced solo roles in ballets such as Cinderella, La Fille mal gardée and Nutcracker by Frédéric Olivieri as well as neoclassical pieces such as Serenade by George Balanchine and Largo by Matteo Levaggi. He also took part in the television show Danza con Me by Roberto Bolle and contributed to the creation of Canone Allegro by Valentino Zucchetti.

Since the 2023/24 season, Massimiliano Santagostino has been a member of the Youth Company of the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. He has performed in various productions of the Vienna State Ballet to date, including John Neumeierʼs Lady of the Camellias, Rudolf Nureyevʼs Don Quixote and Swan Lake, Pierre Lacotteʼs Coppélia, Elena Tchernichovaʼs Giselle, Martin Schläpferʼs Sleeping Beauty and Christopher Wheeldonʼs The Winterʼs Tale
