Adam Palka
After completing his vocal studies at the Music Academy in Gdańsk and refining his craft at the Zurich Opera Studio, the Polish bass Adam Palka joined Deutsche Oper am Rhein as a soloist in 2011 and became a member of the ensemble at the Stuttgart State Opera in 2013, where he performed many leading roles of his repertoire.
His most recent engagements include the title role in Boris Godunov at La Scala in Milan; Timur (Turandot) and Gremin (Eugene Onegin) at the Liceu in Barcelona; Leporello (Don Giovanni) at the Staatsoper Berlin; the Commendatore (Don Giovanni) and Timur at the Royal Ballet and Opera in London and at Teatro Real Madrid; Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor) and Skula (Prince Igor) at the Paris Opéra; Colline (La bohème) and Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at the Bavarian State Opera; the Commendatore in Palermo; Walter (Luisa Miller) at the Hamburg State Opera; as well as Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte) and the Water Goblin (Rusalka) in Stuttgart.
At the Vienna State Opera, where he has appeared as Méphistophélès (Faust), Don Basilio, and the Water Goblin, he made his debut in 2021.
